I bought a lodgitech h800 wireless headset from amazon, and have been using it for a few days. Overall, it is a good headset, however, I do have a problem with base. I've noticed on both of my computers that when certain sounds go off in games I like, or I'm listening to certain music, I get a rattling in the headset. This only happens with certain sounds. How can I fix this, so that sounds with a lot of base don't cause a rattle?

One of two things are happening. The volume is too loud in the headset or it's effective and needs to be returnd.

I used to have one of those and absolutely loved it until I left it on a bus. Anyway, sounds like you might have a defective unit. I never experienced that particular issue. The only other thing I can think of is to make sure that the cover holding the usb dongle in is secure. I think it's on the left side. I can't remember but it's the side oposit the controls. Good luck.

How do I get the transmitter inside the little holder?

On the side opposite the controls, press in gently and twist. The round part with the textured lines should pop off. Then it just fits in. HTH
